There are only six hospitals in the country to receive Advanced Certification in Spine Surgery from the Joint Commission and Hartford HealthCare has two of them: MidState Medical Center and St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Hartford HealthCare is the only healthcare system in Connecticut to have hospitals with this esteemed designation.
