More COVID-19 boosters are approved.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has approved booster shots for Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. This includes healthcare workers and certain other groups. Pfizer boosters have already been approved. Hartford HealthCare will announce clinic locations and hours for the new boosters in the near future. Appointments will be required.

Springer Courtyard Ribbon Cutting

Springer Courtyard Ribbon Cutting

We are live from Hartford Hospital to honor the visionary leadership of Hartford Hospital’s 18th president, John Springer. Today a new courtyard is being unveiled at the Education and Resource Center (ERC) on Hudson Street. Through a gift from the Nursing Alumnae Association of the Hartford Hospital School of Nursing Association, the courtyard’s fountain has been replaced, it honors the legacy of nursing education that Hartford Hospital provided for nearly 100 years, from 1877 to 1976.
