Overview

The Hartford HealthCare (HHC) Administrative Graduate Internship is a 10-12 week comprehensive paid position starting in June. Interns report directly to a member of the HHC Leadership Team, gaining exposure to the roles and responsibilities of a healthcare administrator.

This project-based internship provides the opportunity to work closely with functional leaders on departmental projects and system-level assignments. Interns will have many opportunities to meet other functional leaders in areas such as human resources, health equity, quality, operations, lean, innovation, informatics, employee wellness, strategic planning and business development, marketing and finance.

Students from underrepresented and historically excluded backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.

About Hartford HealthCare

Our fully integrated health system includes seven hospitals, the state’s most extensive behavioral health network, a Bone & Joint Institute, a Cancer Institute, a Neurosciences Institute, a Heart & Vascular Institute, a large multispecialty physician group, a regional home care system, an array of senior care services, a large physical therapy and rehabilitation network and an accountable care organization.

Participant Eligibility

Must be enrolled in MHSA, MPH or equivalent degree program. Hartford HealthCare does not provide visa sponsorships for the internship program.
