Breast Health Team Encourages Screenings at the St. Vincent’s Medical Center Farm Stand

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, the Breast Health team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center is educating individuals on the importance of mammograms at the weekly St. Vincent’s Farm Stand.

The Breast Health team will be at the Farm Stand on Sept. 27 and Oct. 4. Patrons will have the chance to speak to a member of the Breast Health team and if needed, schedule a mammogram. In addition to the Farm Stand, the Breast Health team will be available in the St. Vincent’s cafeteria on Oct. 3 and Oct. 17 to assist with scheduling mammograms for both employees and visitors.

The Farm Stand at St. Vincent’s is held every Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. outside the main entrance of the hospital at 2800 Main St., Bridgeport.
