See yourself in this list? If you’re a Connecticut resident, then it’s time to start thinking about a COVID-19 vaccination.
Already Eligible
- Healthcare professionals with potential exposure to infected patients.
- Long-term care facility residents.
- Medical first responders such as police, fire and emergency medical technicians.
- State residents 75 and older.
Coming Soon
- People between ages 65 and 74 (likely February).
- People with an underlying medical condition that increases their risk of severe illness (likely March).
- Frontline essential workers (likely March).
Frontline essential workers include:
- Healthcare personnel with no potential exposure to infected patients.
- U.S. Postal Service workers.
- Education and child-care workers.
- Frontline public and social services.
- Public transit workers.
- Agricultural workers, including farmworkers.
- Food service and restaurants.
- Manufacturing workers.
- Grocery store and pharmacy workers.
- Food banks and meal delivery services for the elderly.
- Solid waste and wastewater workers.
- Inspectors working onsite at any locations listed above.
Note: Congregate settings phased into the vaccine rollout. This group includes people and staff in halfway homes, inpatient mental health facilities, corrections facilities, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters, substance use and residential treatment facilities.
How to Get a Vaccine
Anyone in the eligible groups can get vaccinated at a Hartford HealthCare vaccine clinic. An appointment is required to ensure safety. No walk-ins are allowed.
People eligible for a vaccine who already have a MyChartPlus account can log in and make an appointment at a Hartford HealthCare vaccine clinic. If you don’t have a MyChartPlus account, set one up on Hartford HealthCare’s MyChartPlus.org website.
If you’d prefer to schedule your appointment by phone, call the Hartford HealthCare Access Center at 860.827.7690 or toll-free at 833.943.5721. You may experience extended wait times because of high demand. Thank you for your patience.
Where to Get a Vaccine
Vaccine clinics are currently operational at these locations:
- Hartford Convention Center.
- Norwich.
- Wethersfield.
These additional locations are expected to open soon:
- Meriden.
- Southington.
- Mystic.
- Torrington State Armory (Jan. 25).
