Center for Healthy Aging Adds Virtual Dementia Caregivers Support Group

March 16, 2020

Support groups provide emotional, educational and social support in a positive and uplifting atmosphere. In meeting the needs of dementia caregivers who may be unable to attend an in-person group, Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging is now hosting four call-in support groups each week.

Led by dementia specialists and resource coordinators from Hartford HealthCare Center for Healthy Aging, these virtual groups will be held Mondays at 10 am; Tuesdays at 3 pm; Wednesdays at 10 am; and Fridays at 2 pm. Each group will be for one hour although callers are welcome to join in the discussion for whatever length of time works for them.

Questions, concerns and practical tips are welcome topics. If you would like to email a question beforehand, email Adrianne.DeVivo@hhchealth.org.

To join Hartford HealthCare’s Virtual Dementia Caregivers Support Group, call 860.972.6338 and enter 19623# when prompted. No RSVP is necessary.
