Congratulations to Maria Marques, who earned the 2025 Connecticut Society for Respiratory Care (CTSRC) John and Louis Julius Award for Outstanding Practitioner. Marques, lead night repiratory therapist at MidState Medical Center and ECMO specialist at Hartford Hospital, has been an American Association for Respiratory Care member for 30 years and holds multiple certifications.

Known for exceptional patient care and support for colleagues, Marques is a trusted resource on her team. She stays active in the respiratory care community, having served as CTSRC president and currently as a member of the board of directors.
