Bio

Dr. David Aughton is a general surgeon with Hartford HealthCare. Clinically, his areas of interest include: hernias; abdominal surgery; laparoscopic surgery; breast surgery; skin and soft tissue; and thyroids/parathyroids.

After finishing his undergraduate degree at the University of Central Florida, he earned a medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency, both in general surgery, at Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine/Waterbury Hospital.

Dr. Aughton is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
