Bio

Dr. Zhang received her medical degree from Peking Union Medical College in Beijing, China. She obtained her PhD degree in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology from Stony Brook University in New York. She did her internship at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York. She completed her neurology residency at University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital during which she served as a chief resident. She then pursued fellowship training in epilepsy at Yale Comprehensive Epilepsy Center.

Dr. Zhang is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

She is a member of American Academy of Neurology, and American Epilepsy Society.
