Bio

Dr. Sara Dost is a medical oncologist seeing patients at the Hartford HealthCare Cancer Centers at Hartford and St. Vincent's Medical Center.

Board-certified in internal medicine and hospice and palliative medicine, she has conducted research into the effects of maternal polycystic ovarian syndrome on the fetal brain and the post-menopausal effects of estrogen on the hypothalamus. She is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Dr. Dost is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut, a fellowship in palliative and hospice medicine at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of South Florida H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center.
