I am finally comfortable! Nothing is ever perfect as we get older, but Dr. Hornyak was able to relieve my pain that consumed all my attention span & disrupted my day to day activities. On our initial meeting he explained my chiari malformation clearly (because I'm not a brain surgeon and had NO idea what it was)& told me his recommendation & other options. I opted to have decompression surgery which I was petrified about but the staff was fabulous reassuring & checking on me all the way. (Elise, thank you for answering my silly questions👍) Extremely happy I chose him & his team.

Nobody likes to see a doctor but Dr. Hornyak gave me plenty of time and made me feel comfortable. Another doctor had referred me after seeing my MRI so Dr. H explained my situation and even showed me a short video of the operation. It was quite graphic but also looked pretty easy. It's still surgery but I'm more comfortable after seeing how it's done. We're going to do another MRI in 6 months and decide then.

[hey are so helpful and when I got there I got a little dizzy and the driver went inside and 3 people came out with a wheelchair for me. Everytime I needed anything they were very helpful. Dr. Hornack was very professional and always asked if I needed anything.
