Bio

Dr. Leopold trained at the Harvard Joint Center for Radiation Therapy where he was a Chief Resident and Research Fellow. He subsequently was a Professor at Duke University, where he was awarded the prestigious Clinical Oncology Career Development Award, and at Dartmouth College before coming to Hartford Hospital in 1999 to concentrate on caring for individual patients.

He has authored or co-authored over 70 publications related to cancer care.

He has served on numerous cancer-related committees, including being on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire division of the American Cancer Society and serving on the Respiratory Core of the CALGB research group.
