Bio

Dr. Daigneault, a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon, specializes in Sports Medicine injuries, with a subspecialty in shoulders. He carries out a variety of complicated and unusual procedures done infrequently by other orthopedists in the area, in addition to standard orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Daigneault graduated from Holy Cross College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and from Boston College with a Masters in Biochemistry. He attended Albany Medical College where he received his doctor of medicine. His surgical residency was at the Yale University School of Medicine. His fellowship in Sports Medicine was carried out at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic.

Dr. Daigneault was a faculty member at the Yale School of Medicine for ten years. During that period his coverage included private patients as well as coverage for sports injuries for the New Haven Nighthawks and Yale University Varsity Football and Hockey, as well as the Yale University Intramural Football and Soccer. During 2000 to 2001 he was the Head Team Physician for the New Haven Ravens. Dr. Daigneault joined the Center for Orthopaedics in 2000.

Dr. Daigneault is very active in his home community as the commissioner in a youth basketball league as well as coach and advisor in youth sports programs. He is married and has three children.
