Bio

In practice for nearly 20 years, Dr. Roy is one of only four surgeons in central Connecticut who is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. He has trained others in his expert approach and for the past 12 years has served as the University of Connecticut’s School of Medicine Residency Site Director for Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Roy is a thought leader in his field and has authored numerous book chapters and journals, as well as given countless lectures for groups such as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. In addition, he has been recognized by the local media for his expertise in minimally invasive surgery for women.
